Experience
During my time at the University of British Columbia I had the opportunity to tutor younger students in my program in subjects such as English, Anatomy & Physiology, and Biomechanics. Prior to that, I also had some experience tutoring primary school aged children in basic Math and English. I have taken a variety of English classes at a University level and have successfully completed a number of scholarly papers. Additionally, I have an extensive background in health sciences, particularly anatomy, physiology, biomechanics, and pathophysiology. I have always enjoyed tutoring and teaching because, from my experience, the process is highly individualized. I really enjoy the challenge of working together to discover which learning style works best for each student and how best I can positively impact their lives. Through tutoring, I have the opportunity to empower my students to confidently carry a conversation in English, successfully pass a test or exam, and increase their chances of attending their university of choice.
